1985, Iris blue metallic, only 110k kms on it. The owner is I think German, in his 70s I’d say. He’s the second owner, he bought it from his friend after selling his 76 911 Turbo because “you can’t just leave 120 grand on the table, as much as I loved the car.” He and his wife regularly drive it down to california and up into the O kanagan, and it doesn’t skip a beat. He showed me the mint interior, and the mint engine bay, and said “I f you can, buy one, you won’t regret it”

“If you can, buy one, you won’t regret it”
I hope this statement extends to a model one.

The prices have stabilized so it’s conceivable but still not likely. I mean, what is that, a $60k car? So attainable for a lot of people just not me.

Pretty much, yeah. Older ones with the 2.7 can be had for 35 or so in pretty good shape, that’s what I’d be aiming for if I can better my income in the next few years.....

Maybe because of the miles and color, but you can easily find these in the 40s.

Gorgeous car--the color along with the blacked out Fuchs look incredible.

It’s not that uncommon to see old 911s around here, but this one stopped me in my tracks.
