Its still gets some stuff wrong and they obviously don’t know how to use graphs.
I mean...the relative scale is still accurate.
They even got some good sources on this one in Dan and David, though technically David no longer works for the museum. You’ll note they didn’t use any of their interview to talk about the future of land cruiser though, only the past.

The markings on those charts bother me. Its like they willfully ignored them. They put the 44k literally right next to the “5,000" label.
I do think that bringing different trim levels and the 70 series would do well here. Let lexus k eep the luxury version, but let me buy a lower cost Toyota version . They have multiple levels of 4Runner, so obviously they know how to do it.

Bringing the 70 Series to a market where the 4Runner and Tacoma are already successful, making good coin and satisfying modern safety standards would be a hiding to nothing for Toyota.

My thoughts too. If people thought the 200 series was a niche, then kep 70% of the price but take away all the luxury. about 1000 would go to hardcores and...thats about it.

That graph is painful
