Would you say it's the best Muse album? Because for me it's a close #2 behind Absolution.

It’s the best, Absolution is amazing, (side note: It’s the first vinyl record I ever bought. Unfortunately , it was stolen when I was in college) but Black Holes is better.

I like that, though when I saw them live it reminded me of Oasis - And the word “bombastic “

I definitely think it’s close. I probably just have some more sentimental attachment to Absolution. I’m showing my age here, but I downloaded Absolution on Napster back when Napster was trying to go legit and partnering with colleges. I felt bad for liking an album so much and not paying for it that I actually went out and bought a copy.

I love old Muse, but I struggle with getting into the newer stuff.

Resistance is the last one I can listen to. 2nd Law, Drones, can’t get into it. Although I must admit that the song Madness is catchy as hell.

New Muse is bad, but not so bad that I can't still enjoy old Muse. Hell, some days I still throw on Showbiz.

I guess I’m a Muse fanboy. Drones is by far their weakest album, but I still listen to  a few tracks.  I do prefer their older stuff - My favorites are Origin of Symmetry, Absolution and Black Holes in that order - But the new stuff is good too. I think the 2nd Law is great, with only a couple of weak tracks. 

And hot damn do I love me some Simulation Theory. Fantastic album, and no one can convince me otherwise. It was their best live show too.
