But this is hitting a new low.
Disclaimer: love what Tesla is doing. Musk is just crazy enough to upset the industry and make some real changes. That being said he’s also a dangerous variable. Yes I’ll trade off bonkers ass speed for quality control (fitment gap). Definitely not a Tesla fanboy and they can do no wrong. You can support and criticize something at the same time .
Anyways, is insideEV’s really being serious here? I hope not.
And they can’t even vet their ads properly as I got redirected to this garbage after 10 seconds.

So a totally fake render presented as fact, and scam lottery prizes. Neat,

most sites don’t directly vet the ads which show up. They contract with third party ad services who sniff your browsing history/cookies to determine what to show you. Sometimes it’s these services which get compromised and let those kinds of malicious ads through.
other times they over-promise to an advertiser and when they’re not meeting their targets they turn on auto-play of video ads across all of their sites.

Wait... people actually think that their truck is going to look anything like that? I thought the whole “it’s the mars rover!” thing was a joke/sarcasm. Are we sure that site isn’t an EV-Onion?

They only have to do that when they move in and torpedo a site they brought by eliminating all the writers and dramatically changing the content. This drives away readers and advertisers with them.

They’ re so far up Elon’s ass it bypasses any chance of satire. At least twice a week they post a clip about a Tesla getting vandalized on sentry mode or getting rear-ended in traffic. Worse yet was a 3 that changed lanes into the path of a motorcyclist (albeit driving way too fast) but because it was caught on video the fanboys/fake attorneys were clamoring about how the video proof saves the 3 driver from any charges.
