My drive home can be quite pleasant sometimes (even if it’s mostly straight roads)

I love driver POV shots with this hood

This one, not so much

I thought you guys would find this interesting, I’m a ski patroller for a local hill. Every year we do a chair evacuation refresher just in case we ever need to evacuate a chair due to a break down (it actually happened this last year, which was the first time in 20+ years that it’s happened).

I hate two things about winter here. 1) It’s always overcast and 2) getting to work in the dark and leaving work in the dark

It shouldn’t be this dark

And this grisly scene is winter brutally murdering fall

Here in SoCal we always celebrate late autumn with the highest temperatures of the year. We do also have a riot of fall colors dotting our hillsides — orange, reds and yellows... and smoke.

Lake Geneva was our primary boating location and we’d always launch from Williams Bay.

We had the same conditions here this morning. It was a freaking frozen wasteland.

Thankfully it was warm enough today, that it looks like fall again. Albeit a messy one. That heavy wet snow took down a lot of branches and trees.
