I’m sad that I had to put the Fiero away for the winter because it means I can’t drive around listening to 80s songs, and 80s remixes of newer songs, and pretend I’m some 80s yuppie lost in the modern world.

My girlfriend at the time used to laugh at me because I admitted that I like Addicted to Love even though it has many elements that I hated in other songs, like the repetitive lyrics. Hey, it was catchy. Otherwise my 80s listening veered toward either older songs or the Van Halen/ AC/DC / Iron Maiden type stuff. She was more Oingo Boingo.
