I found a Model 3, not for sale here yet.... and without EV plates. Also that rim is rekt
Pretty barebones, might be the RWD model.

Odd. I didn't realize they had EV specific plates there. If you have an EV, do you have to use the EV specific plate?

That frst shot makes it look surprisingly small.

It is very small. It's also less ugly in person.

Actually I misspoke.
Yes, they need EV specific plates, which now have a leaf on them (it used to be that cars had regular plates but stickers disclaiming their special powertrain)
But since it’s not sold here yet, rhe Model 3 isn’t in the approved list
of hybrid, PHEV, and EV vehicles for the plates.
It’s probably a grey import by Tesla corporate.
The EV plates offer many benefits, zero road tax, and no emissions inspections for eight years.

Grey import I guess

Sure as hell ain’t no Model X. Can’t believe the guy who designed the S also gave us that rolling tumor.

The model X in grey with the 22in rims is
passable
in person.
But yeah, the Tesla model S is really, really pretty, they should go back to their very young
roots.

“Passable” If you say so.
As great as the S looks, they need a second gen already with a re-worked front. Deleting the fake grill up front for the facelift didn’t do it any favors.

Even if they constantly update the model S they do need a refresh. Specially if they’re getting rid of the 70D packs.
Which means only 100D s that’s expensive, it needs a better interior !

And especially with the Taycan looming. Once the likes of say, Lexus and BMW follow with their own “ Tesla Killers”, I think they might just live up to that title.

I’ve been for a quick, acce lerometer-bending ride in a model s, they’re an impressive car.
