Needs a coil because of course it needs a coil. Still need to do the torque mount and valve cover gaskets which means I also have to do the intake gaskets yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay all of this for a pile of fuck car that’s worth next to nothing and will just continue breaking. Need to sell it before something else shits the bed and buy something more reliable like another Jaguar. Or an actual dumpster that is on fire.

Maybe it’s time to upgrade to the one parked next to it. Fewer moving parts and such. ;)

Fuck everything about that smarmy pile of fuck car and its buggy ass autopilot that keeps trying to kill us and the republican ass bible beater that owns it and keeps fucking bragging about how goddamn great his $70k caris ten minutes before whining about how much of a pain in the ass road trips are with it.

I HATE transverse V6's!!!!
Also, I’m considering a 5-speed 6 hatchback with the I4, if I can find one. The 2.3 is much better than the V6, and the hatchback gets you extra utility.
My next choice is a Matrix XRS/Vibe GT with the
2ZZ. Of course, the Camry is an awesome car, and so a 5-speed 5th gen Camry is next on teh list. I’d even consider an Astra if I could find a decent one with a 5-speed and panoramic sunroof that’s not boring-ass silver.

Wasn't the Wagon V6 + auto only? Or do you mean the liftback thing they made that was virtually indistinguishable from the sedan?
![]() 01/24/2019 at 18:07 |

The wagon was indeed V6-only, but you could in fact get one with the manual.
And yes, I did mean the liftback that’s virtually indistinguishable from the sedan. In fact, the reason I’m looking at the hatchback rather than the wagon is because the hatch is available with the I4 (as well as the V6) while the wagon was V6-only. If the wagon was offered with the four, that would’ve been my first choice.
So yeah, I want a 4-cylinder man
ual
liftback :o)

Yup ... I had similar goals. I am enjoying my $200/mo lease on a new manual Golf.

Don’t give a shit enough about Tesla to know if the one next to your demonspawn 6 is a 100D or not, but either way, that was a hell of a tirade/ comment.

In Canada you could get a 4 cylinder wagon.

If you want a reliable Mazda, you have to stick to the ones with a 4cyl, FWD and no turbos.
![]() 01/24/2019 at 18:40 |

I wonder if you could import that into the US under the substantially similar exemption in the import rules.

4cyl RWD Mazdas are also traditionally very reliable (Miata, B-series)

“Hey I have the new beta version of autopilot let’s see if we can confuse it”
yeah but ok how about we FUCKING DON’T.
I have lost track of the amount of times it has gone whup-de-do and done some weird shit that either almost thought a wall was a lane or slamed on the brakes and almost got us rear ended with its unpredictable ass behavior
