So, um, is there an employee discount? :p
Employees shouldn’t be allowed
to bid on their auctions

Not the first time he’s done it, nor will it be the last. I don’t agree with it but it’s his company.
I still watch the Scottsdale auction but Barrett Jaclson as a whole isn’t what it used to be, especially after Spanky and his group of auctioneers left. I’d rather watch Mecum because I can watch it on YouTube and not have to listen to the announcers (I know you can watch B-J on Motor Trend online but whatever). To me it's what B-J used to be and without all the politics.

Charity. There are times when the first buyer will then donate the car back and it’s auctioned off again a few times in a row . Selling for many times its value, it’s all about the charity, the car is the bonus.

Likely His “Corporation” bought it. A great way to help folks and navigate the Tax codes.

pumping “your” money back into the account you write your own checks out of.
and sure “its fro charity” but he also got a bad ass car, a tax write off, and more media attention for the auction.
