According to CNET and Cadillac’s boss, my favorite car currently built in America lives to die another day.

It seems that they never wanted to axe the car and that they had tons of more ambitions to do with it before it leaves us for good, including the upcoming Blackwing V8 and Super Cruise. While it’s sad to see cars like the XTS, Lacrosse, and Volt go, at least America’s greatest luxury sedan lives on.

550 hp, 627 torques and a ten-speed transmission. Oughta do 0-60 in about 3 seconds. That's a car I can get excited about. Ferrari and Maserati can hug a root.
