Some simple green and a shop rag and voi-la I  can see my tail lights again. The rest of the car is... don’t touch it you’ll get dirty.

Next time you wash, wax the lights as simple green will strip it off.

No need to see the plate or see out the windows, I just drive by feel.

I shy away from waxing it ruins the patina.
