Actually, it’s 2 inches. Just like the last one I bought. Which was also wrong. I’m trying to finish off the fuel filler neck on the Exocet and it’s not going well. Almost nothing I find is small enough for the silly little Miata tank entry tube (1.5" OD) and there are pretty limited options available in fuel-resistant tubing. Maybe I need to learn how to weld...

This seems like something Summit would have materials for, have you checked there?

Even when the info is good, the fact that many products have multiple variants makes the info suspect.
My favorites though are all the ones where someone asks a question and the top response is “I don’t know” or some variant. Why respond if you don’t know? Amazon even provides an “I don’t know” button to try to lure you away from doing something so dumb, but you went right ahead and ignored it didn’t you...

I’ve looked by damn is that site hard to search. They have almost zero product details - making it super hard to tell what the specs are.

Jeff, it’s over. No - don’t cry. You’ve known this has been coming!

I’m pretty sure there is such a thing as 1.25" ID/1.5" OD fuel hose, I’ve used it in industrial applications for diesel and gasoline. It’s red on the outside and black on the inside with a nylon fabric reinforcement, tough as shit.

Most of the specs are on the page for the product, kind of have to narrow it down with the filters as best you can,
then look through results. Search for the type of part you’re looking for, then filter down from there (or skip the search box all
together, and just
select the type of part and add filters to narrow it down)
.

I was going to suggest that site! I've had good luck with them for obscure stuff so far.

Fool me once...

This is the exact part that I bought on Amazon. My calipers may not be the most expensive in the world, but that neck measures 2 inches, not 1.5.

I’ve learned to take Amazon Q&As with a grain of salt, but geez you’d think at least t his reply would have been correct ...

NPT sizes I think are inside diameter so a 1.5” filler would need a 2” hose?

Ot's not OD, it's OC.

Maybe? Though the inside diameter measures a little over 1-3/4 in.
Part of me just thinks no one actually measures this stuff and someone screwed up on the original spec sheet and it’s all just copy paste.
I ordered about $100 in parts online tonight in hose, couplers, and reducers. I also need to sort out the vent hose so that’s included in that $ 100. Kind of annoying that this will have to wait until next week to get the parts since I leave for an international work trip soon and won’t have much time until Feb to work on the car.

OC? What about OPP?
It’s actually possible that it’s Nominal Pipe Size and not OD.

Can you use something like that.
