I’d love to put that monster motor in something and put the biggest turbo’s I could find on it. 800ci displacement. Think of the torque!
CP all day.

I feel like it loses something. I’d love this bus with all its patina with a totally converted RV interior

I imagine parts would end up being a matter of fabricating your own as often as not. My guess would be that adapting it to swap in something like a Detroit 6 71 and a corresponding gearbox would be vastly easier. Still an old school two-stroke diesel , but also still has plenty of parts support and folks that know them well.

It would be interestimg to know if it was used to transport defense workers to the Rocky Flats Plant and, if so, how irradiated it still is.

Interesting. I thought I was pretty knowledgeable about Crown Coaches, but I don’t think I've ever seen a modern pic of one with the radiator up front like that. Unfortunately I'm not the one to save it from the scrapper...

This would be insanely cool to make a rat rod/sleeper style bus out of.
Leave it mostly like it is body wise, get that engine going, throw some boost at it, holy shit that would be fun.
Thank god it’s in Colorado, if it was closer I would seriously consider checking it out.
