I fancy some gnocchi and spaghetti.
Cherry tomatoes on the vine roasted with oil and a little salt, de-vined and skinned poured over some fresh gnocchi then drizzled with olive oil, pecorino and rocket mashed in a pestle and mortar.
Followed by some roasted cherry tomatoes served with spaghetti in a pesto with salmon steak (either lightly fried or steamed).
Does this sound okay or do you recommend something else!?
EDIT: I may be slow to reply, I'm off back down to the shop floor.

Can’t beat Heinz Beans.
Especially when you've fine chopped and fried some bacon with some black and white pepper, then a few spoons full of beans fried together then served as part of a fry up.

I pan fried some gnocchi in a little butter and fixed them with a lfredo sauce as a side to some steaks I grilled over the weekend. Gotta say I was more than impressed. I think gnocchi is becoming my favorite side dish.

Steam it in the can is better. Punch a couple of holes in the top and then put in a pan with boiling water just short of the top of the can, bring back to the boil then simmer for a few minutes then serve with thick custard.

It's something I've never really paid too much attention to to be honest.

I make my sauce from scratch so it’s a helluva lot better than anything you get at the market. Dunno how big into that kind of sauce yall are over there, but it’s worth a try.

Not mixed, but a starter and a main.
