I now “own” a 4- Runner. It’s actually my brothers. 2007 Sport Edition in Charcoal grey with 160,000 miles. Has a hella cool rear window and the engine smells like weed when i floor it. That’s all I know

I think you need to have a talk with the 4-Runner about the dangers of smoking weed.  Show it pictures of the impound lot and it’ll straighten up.

Since I asked, I’ll continue my 4Runner story.

In high school, there was a guy who had/has (I think he got another of this gen) 4Runner. It was 4WD, and he’d drive it on the grass and over the curb to leave school sometimes. That off-road ability.
