UPDATE: That's a pass from me. It was a 2006 Magnum with 140k and it was pretty beat up.
How is the 3.5 V6 for reliability? I mean compared to other Mopar engines? I may be checking out a car that would likely meet Oppo’s approval.

Is it a Magnum? I bet it’s a Magnum.
I think the 3.5 had sludge issues.

I would say the 5.7 v8 is more reliable although I have no data or experience to back it up, in the hope that you’d take my comment at face value and get that mopar engine instead.

YOU’RE A MAGNUM

Ooo let’s guess t he car. I assume it's not a Prowler if you're gonna get the Oppo seal of approval. Magnum perhaps?

I would love something with the 5.7 but none of those fall in the range I’m willing to spend unfortunately. Maybe in a couple years.

I cannot say...

Can we get hints?

One thing about the V6 Magnums is they eat front brakes, I had one and had to do pads and rotors every year. Big heavy car, takes a lot to woah them.....

forgot to add, never had a single engine related problem but I also had a 95 neon that went 280k miles which is damn near
impossible...

I’m not a magnum, I just wear them.

I’m only going to be doing about 5-7k miles per year, so I'd be ok with that.

Eagle Vision??!!! Too Oppo? Too Oppo...

Rhymes with spaghnum.

Mine was a daily 15-20k a year and I like to use brakes :)

The only way to be happy with a Chrysler product is if the fender has a Hemi badge on it. The 3.5 is a slow gas guzzling POS. Stretch the budget or wait for the right deal, they are out there.

You should invest in better fitting condoms.

Yeah, these ones are too tight and it cuts off circulation a bit.

I just use the plastic sleeves that paper cups come in.
I’m kidding. I'm married.

I was kidding too. I don’t use condoms at all because that’s predicated upon actuall y having sex.

If I was able to convince someone to be with me despite all my character flaws , you can too. Don’t sell yourself short.

Tell that to the guy that recently ghosted on me...

Sometimes guys are a-holes. Don’t let that stop you. The guy I went on a date with just before I met my partner was a complete tool bag, but that didn’t stop me. I kept looking and found him, and now we’ve been together over ten years. Go get ‘em.

Actually Hellc ats regularly go a million miles plus with just oil changes so I recommend that engine

That was the 2.7L in the early years. The 3.5L is damn near indestructible.

3.5L swapped Stratus sedan!
To your question, Mopars are as reliable as their owners. Find one that’s been well cared and it will care for you.

I mean, I’m perfectly fine with being patient and waiting for something to line up right, but at the same time I’m very much not. If that make s any sense.

Yep, it makes total sense. Just don’t let your brain hold what one guy did to you against the others, if that makes sense. I had to work hard at that.
