I used to fly from NYC to SeaTac a few times a year and this was absolutely the best part of the trip. Hitting it for sunrise/sunset was the best.

Except on top, my group and a couple other people I’ve talked to over time who've climbed it all had 0 visibility on top.

This was right below camp Muir, about 10,000 ft up. Definitely a risk based on weather for the day. My last boss hit the summit every weekend for a year when I was working for him, easily had as many no-visibility days as otherwise.

He and his brother were both really into hiking. This was some sort of challenge, and from what I remember he didn't miss a single weekend. Dude had calves like an Olympia-level bodybuilder
