She’s Kerosene by The Interrupters is probably the most ska-adjacent song I’ve heard in years. Pretty catchy too.

Second vote for The Interrupters, hidden gem of a band right there.  The female vocalist adds a great dimension, sort of an early, harder, smokier Gwen Stefani/No Doubt meets Rancid vibe...

I’ll have to check them out! I haven’t heard of either of the bands you posted.

I listened to the macc lads, I dig it.

I’ve been on a huge protopunk kick lately, the early form of punk, which i’m sure you’re familiar with.
