This appeared to be a well broadcast situation with people stopped. Although a bit too closely for their own longevity. The falling rock sign acknowledges this as a trouble spot.

Screen name checks out. Humor aside, I suspect arrest would follow any attempt to cross this.

Heh, I wouldn’t try that, but only because I’d wager it’s not nearly compact enough to support the weight of my Jeep.
Mayyyyyyybe a flattie, on the theory that its lighter weight would make a difference....but probably not.

Do you know anything about that event? Like how many people perished?

I would not have posted this, and certainly not with a cavalier attitude, was there any reasonable expectation of casualties. Traffic is stopped behind a falling rock sign with people clearly warned of an impending rockfall.
I was unable to determine the location or date this occurred. Though s now in Winter and earth in Summer impeding mountain travel are a part of life. Nothing ever prepares you for witnessing something this momentous.

I wasn't trying to throw shade; I was only curious.
