Have you found your way to Scandinavia?
Not surprised though, as it has gotten a lot of attention lately. Why not simply neutral toilets, where everyone can go?

What I especially don’t get is gendered single-occupancy restrooms, which are definitely a thing in smaller businesses in the US...

So glad to see there are toilets for disembodied heads now

Seriously, I have been in a meeting where much discussion was held about the terminology referring to a single restroom. “Gender neutral? All-gender? Non-gendered?”
What about “Restroom.”
I do not feel as though this could be considered exclusive or offensive; I fail to see how this would not make abundantly clear that it is a restroom/bathroom/toilet/wc/whatever... for anyone to use. Just like at home?!

I’d also support calling them toilets . Toilet is more easily recognizable than “restroom” in many other languages.

I can only assume the final entry there is “Maria von Trapp”.

One reason is that women aren't terribly keen on using a shared toilet after some man with very poor aim has been there!
