Art?

I believe “invented to challenge the assumptions of what constitutes a work of art” is the artists version of “hold my beer.”
They say it to each other when they’re about to make something idiotic just to prove they can still get it on display in a gallery somewhere.

Art, it's one letter away from Fart.

“ N o n - f u n c t i o n a l m a c h i n e ”? That look’s pretty much like a working truing stand. Maybe the difference between an artist and a bicycle mechanic is the ability see functionality?
I’m also surprised
to see t

That is one revolutionary stool specimen.

like I said in the other post. I don’t get modern art.
This ‘a challenge to assumptions on art’ (crap) is a load of rubbish because they haven’t got anything.
A pair of bicycle forks and a wheel on a stool. I’d hit the guy over the head if he didn’t give my entrance fee back.
Anyway, good night mate, sleep well.

It's art if you can find a buyer.

Art - serves no other function other than being itself. So, yes.

If you put your fart in a pickle jar, and glue that pickle jar to a white kitchen stool... would it be art?
