Few beers I bought this morning.
McEwan’s Champion, quite a good beer, and
McEwan’s Headspace, a Scotch whiskey beer.
The McEwan’s Headspace, says on the rear of the bottle.
“That perfect state of mind when things come together.
A superb hand crafted beer blended with one of Scotland’s finest celebrations. Synonymous with Scotland, the finest Scotch whisky has been blended with this smooth and fruity beer, giving a unique rich and full-bodied flavour.”

Never say no to whiskey aged beer.

Not so much whisky aged as actually having whisky added to it.
There was sufficient presence of whisky to add more depth to the beer making it a more fruity flavour but certainly not enough added to overpower the beer. I'd say single figures of millilitres per pint of beer.

It's nice. You'd think it'd be strong or something but certainly not anywhere near as strong as when I add a large whiskey to a pint of Guinness after a very long and hard night (mentally) at work.

Well, I will freely admit that I am spoiled by year-round availability of this:
It is so much better than you can possibly imagine. ( And so much stronger. )
