65’ in the air, and still on the ground.
Absolute unit.

I flew on a C5 once and that was interesting, but the coolest thing was seeing multiple C5As parked with their nose and tails open and a Sea Dragon inside each. That’s a whole lot of aircraft inside a whole lot of aircraft.

A220 my ass, that’s a CSeries. But to your point, yes, that’s a very big airplane.

C-5s spend a lot of time on the ground.

Also, the C Series/A220 is a handsome plane.

The fact that they spend any time in the air at all is pretty amazing.

Truly an incredible work of engineeering.

I was once invited to the facility where they do maintenance on these things. My escort brought me from the lobby to the busy shop area. I was sort of distracted by all the material handling carts, parts, and commotion and said to him, “so, you don’t actually have any aircraft in at this time?”
“Look up”
We had been standing under one of the engine pylons the whole time. It is a f*cking ridiculous aircraft.
