I don’t want to lower it because it would make coming out here hell. Right now there is just enough clearance to fuck around a bit. Show me your cars places they shouldn’t be.

I think the only place my Jeep shouldn’t be is on a race track. No pics of that so this will have to do.

Dang, if only I had taken a picture of my Corolla at the top of the ridge near Santa Cruz where I went camping last year , next to all the SUVs and CUVs driven by the people who asked me “how did you get that car up here?”

Not that much off-road, outside of ocassional short gravel roads. No proper forest trail or other fun options here, so i keep to beating the race-escort on the dirt track.

Weird places you can’t believe are public roads.

I wish I had a picture of the 348 parked in a field at Laguna Seca. It was definitely out of it’s element and my comfort zone. Consolation prize of a Costco run (I posted this earlier)

This is exactly where Jeeps are supposed to be.

This is a place it should be, but it was stuck

This exactly the reason I’ll never lower a car. Until I get a car specifically to stance the hell out of it. Which I do want to do.

Well, it was sorta meant for this environment, just with more road:

“when it gets rough, we’ll turn around.”
amazing when you see guys in jeeps with their eyes bugging out

It’s tough to fulfill that requirement when 75% of the vehicles you’ve owned have been Jeeps, and the others were 4x4s as well... The above is pretty much the best I can do. That rock is nearly the same height as the tire’s diameter, on a stock Jeep.

I didn’t stop on the dirt road I was on for fear of getting stuck but here’s the aftermath. Keep in mind I was going through gravel/mud on high performance a/s tires.

I am suddenly intrigued by the concept of a Mustang with rally-ready suspension; I bet it’d be a riot.

More off-road than it probably should be
![]() 09/11/2018 at 21:42 |

If I have this thing in 10 years it might make it's way into the world of rally

Is it weird that I’m a little jealous of you being high-centered?
![]() 09/12/2018 at 00:24 |

No. I totally understand. Do you have the space for a cheap rwd beater you can thrash on without fear?

My 94 after hitting our fishing spot, which is really just a slop trail to the backside of a lake :
Sometimes it like to show off it’s mad flexin skills:
Getting ready to bring our new swing set home:
Sadly I have no pics of our other one at the track, but I used to use this one for auto-x:

This one is in Madison, Indiana.
