Just had some guy ask me if god exists or is a premise for a business?
FWIW I answered it’s a business
Lightburn for your thoughts

Why would you trust a random stranger’s answer to that question?
I would of had to mess with him.
“Look man, you got to promise to keep this a secret, only a handful of us have met with him. I’m one of those people. We aren’t supposed to talk about it, all I can say is everything in the Bible is false. It was just a fictional storybook created by man, as an early form of government. To keep people’s primal insticts under control, in a time before there was a justice system and police. To teach people moral lessons, create fear that they are being watched all the time, and that bad behavior has cosequences. If you tell another soul, we WILL come for you.

Does God exist?
Maybe.
Is God a premise for a business?
Definitely. And note... it doesn’t matter if ‘ God’ exists to make a business/religion where you’re selling God (or a God).

B oom. I had a snappy comeback to the original post, but it is now unworthy.

I am a Christian who attends and is active in church weekly. If the religion or church that you belong to is a "premise for a business", you are going to the wrong church.
