Came across this. Appeared to be 100% stock. Wasn’t for sale but my friend left a note.

Nice, if the paint is original then it’s a 1992 Miata in Sunburst Yellow, a one-year-only for NA Miatas. If it’s well-sorted, it’s a good and reliable roadster...abit slow!

If you breathe on the suspension a little, you never need to lift let alone brake! I love my NA6.

I saw a sunburst a few weeks ago. What a heart color for a Miata

That was my guess on the year. Was sunburst available any other years?

Supposedly the 2002 special-order Vivid Yellow is identical to Sunburst Yellow, both of them being gloss yellow (unlike the metallic Blazing Yellow on the ‘02 SE) but I haven’t seen one up close to determine that.
So, no, SBY was ‘92 only for NAs .
