...to lead with a
picture of your car at the scene of a wreck.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Ad says the car was stolen and crashed, so this will be a parts car that will keep another Panther on the road that much longer.

The Crown Vic is a car that I cannot say enough good about how robust and dependable it is, and how BORING it is in the same breath. Underpowered, sluggish shifts, poor cabin layout,
indestructible
.

Fun and reliability are inversely related.

N o highballers I know what I have...
Not a lot of details or pics. I bet the “new” brakes were installed shortly before this happened , and the owner’s just ... done. Done with the car, get it outta here. It’s got a good engine, that’s worth something. Th e transmission’s still good- that’s worth something too. And of course the brakes. Is it worth $500? Yeah, probably. B ut only for a motivated wrencher who can take care of that front end, or as a donor car .

The answer is always...

That's what a Golf owner would say to themselves

Given that making repairs is generally
not
fun, you would tend to contradict yourself.

Meh, when I have access to a garage, making repairs kind of is fun. It’s the breaking down part that’s the least fun.

Which is weird, because they’re not terribly reliable or much more fun to drive than comparable cars.

Yeah, if the entire drivetrain is still solid, this is a great parts car.

That poor BRZ...

It (basically) fits the “Arson, Murder and Jaywalking” trope for cars.

BORING.
Clearly someone hasn’t pushed one hard enough..........

But someone
has
. The 9C1 Impala was superior in every category
including
fuel economy
. Taller cabin made it more comfortable, too.

Eh, I owned a couple of them. They are plenty of fun to drive, easy to cruise in, and can crack high 20s.
If you need more room than they offer, you are likely a very large person, no offense. I’m average height and I found them very roomy, even in the back seat with a 6' driver.

My beef with the Crown Vic’s cabin is its
height
. The Caprice has a taller space from floor to ceiling. A taller car.
