If there’s a non gravity assisted
cheaper way to go 200mph (with a +1 tooth front sprocket), I don’t know of it. NP.

I don't want to be anywhere near the guy on a 200mph, monster-stickered motorcycle

There was a time I wanted a bike, many years ago. And that was before wife and kids. Now I look back and just thank God I didn’t get one. I see what I do with my more powerful cars nowadays and I know I would do similar with a bike like that. It’s not so much a matter of irresponsibility, as much as it’s a matter of because I can mentality. Not saying I’d be a bad rider, but I know I’d try to stretch the legs on one of these things often. But for $6k, holy crap that’s a lot of speed. Pretty bike too, minus the monster stickers.

Hit about 95 this morning on mine (R6). Fast cars are nice, but there is nothing like the accel of a bike. Plus the maneuverability is nice.

The first time I pinned the throttle on an unlimited class sportbike totally broke my perception of speed. There is nothing else quite like it.

I started riding in college in FL, then moved to the Detroit area and stopped because the roads are too bad to do anything but dodge potholes and worry about dying. But trying to get that feeling of speed in a car is so difficult. Closest I’ve come is driving a CTS-V so it seems as far as sensations I need over 500 supercharged horses to equal a 600cc sportbike

Even driving Hellcats and Demons doesn’t quite compare to a bike. I hit a nice pothole on 75 yesterday, smashed my balls into the tank. Detroit area is hard to find good roads, but I still love riding.

I do miss riding a lot but I was finding I just couldn’t enjoy it here. I like to go for a quick rip but I can’t relax at all until I’m way out of this area and by then I’m getting tired and thinking about heading home
