This is the most mud this truck is likely to ever see.
Dirt Ghost. And a mere apparition at any actual off road event. About all the action this truck sees is driving over the lines in the parking lot.

Maybe it’s just clean. This looks like whoever built it made an eye towards actually using it. Plus overland bound sticker. No number though.
The mud on the tip though it’s a giveaway, it’s a dirt drop from mud stuck in the bumper from Wheeling. Now I can’t say with certainty he’s legit but all signs point to yes

Looks like a sandrunner to me, not a mudrunner. That’s a sand shovel and sand escape mats .

Spare tire is muddy, frame shows evidence of being power washed, exhaust is rusty. Might just be washed with some freshly installed parts. Could be legit

That’s a SANDra rather than a MUDra, DIRTra or even TARra.
I suspect that your preconceptions are slightly tainting your opinion in this instance.

No way. There’s dirt in every nook and cranny in these pics. The bed liner isn’t clean. It gets used.

The bed liner is also a giveaway

Looks good to me.. those angry beaver shovels are good for some looks , I’d rather have my planting spade any day.

Are you sure it's dirt ghost, and not Dr Tough Shit?

The tires have also been chewed up by something that’s not smooth asphalt.

Looks legit enough to me. Just because it isn’t covered with dirt and mud doesn’t mean it doesn’t get used.
When I use to off-road on the weekends, I would spend a good amount of time to clean my truck before my weekly commute, mainly so I didn’t have blocks of caked mud dropping off my vehicle on the highway and damaging the cars behind me.
Plus It has a very mild lift and expensive suspension bits. Most bro-dozer types won’t invest in that type of suspension if they just wanted a lift. If they do, they lift their trucks way higher so you can see the fancy shocks they don’t use in the dirt. This truck looks almost stock in height.

Looks like he’s pretty new to this, but he’s getting out there all right.

Judging by the way it looks he is like a lot of Jeep people I know. Basically they thrash on the weekend and power wash it all day Sunday or Monday. It keeps rust at bay and keeps it nice if they want to sell it.

The chewed up tread on the tires looks like it’s from rubbing that front inner fender...

Planning to go find some local dirt with a friend of mine Monday morning. He and his family did the White Rim earlier this year - looking forward to taking some trips with them in the future.
