While were staying in Spain and traveling to France, my family rented a very nice white 2018 Q3, which I am going to do an OppoReview (unlike the last rental we had, a Kia Soul, which was too bland to do a full review on). Until then, I’m just taking questions, so let em rip.

Looking at your name I’m guessing you don’t get to drive it. So, is it manual or automatic?

Hw does the interior compare to the Kia? Both in space and in comfort. Any other difference other than optics?

I have one today as a courtesy car actually. It’s awful. It’s a big white blob, with a bus-style sitting position, and basically nothing interesting about it that I can see. Comfy seats though. I want my car back!

I think they can look somewhat decent with the right color and wheels. However, the US got stuck with an ancient B7 A4 powertrain for these: 200 hp 207 lb.ft 2.0T with a 6 speed auto. Total dealbreaker. Why not the combo from the A3 2.0T quattro? Rest of the world gets much more modern engines and DSGs, which could make it more tolerable.

1. I’ve driven it, it’s just a comfy auto

2. The difference between the Kia and the Audi, is that the Q3’s interior is good looking and comfortable

3. The space is much better, or maybe the distribution is. In the Kia, my legs barely fit in the back (like a coupe). The Audi was like an Airplane comfort seat

We’ve also been given a Q3... it was diesel, and it stalled on us a few times... it was automatic

They’re actually quite good, I’m not 21 one yet, and they still gave me a car, albeit at a higher cost

But its better than hertz in that regard.
