We have two at work and they are both garbage. We also have a fifteen year old Express with 320k miles that has less problems than either of the Promasters.

You know  what I was wrong turns out I had just backed over a member of the Blue Man Group and he had splattered all over the camera

It’s the only problem the car has had, though, that needed to be fixed. The screen went blue just like yours, but my backup camera is located where the tow hitch would be (I have a third gen RAV4, so there isn’t really a better place for it). I think water got into it and damaged it. The camera was installed by the dealer, though.

Coincidentally, my parents had a 2001 RAV4 with a dealer-installed sunroof that broke after just a few years. The car itself is still with my grandpa.

R eliability runs pretty deep in the og cuv segment. Never really heard one bad word about the rav or the crv. They have that segment all figured out and always have.

My parents get it serviced every 3-5,000 miles, so I think that’s a big part of the reliability. I need to write a review about it, as small crossovers don’t seem to have much representation on here. I’ve meant to for months; I just haven’t done it.

It is garbage but I have 177k miles racked up in less than 4 years so it does get put through the ringer. T he full size chevy express 2500 is on the horizon for me in a couple months.
