Crack Pipe to me.

I drove one of these... and I found the driving dynamics to be absolutely shit.   And I’m guessing the lift will only make it worse.

Hmmmmm .... I love these, but this is REALLY strong money for one of these.  Especially with that many miles.  This one is pretty clean looking though.  I’d probably offer $3k, and pay something in the low 3's.

I don’t know from 4x4s, but what are you comparing with?

This looks like it’s better for less , but again I’m not in the know.

I mean I guess if you must have a clean S10 Blazer that seems like a fair price. That’s getting you into decent 3rd-gen 4Runner, XJ or XTerra territory though if you’re after that sort of thing on that budget. Or do what I just did when buying  a cheap 4x4 and toss the extra $1500 into the maintenance fund!

CP. I had one of these a few years back. Great seats, the 4.3 is really nice, it drives real well . Engine bay isn’t terrible to work in, parts are GM cheap.

Things that sucked about it:

The steering is super weak. All the components especially the idler arm is undersized even for 31s and the weight of the rig

The input shaft seal on the t-case is is known to go out so all your trans fluid (used to lube the output shaft) ends up in your t-case and then blows out the rest of the seals

The G80 isn’t fond of suddenly finding traction

The interior is crap. Everything squeaks or creaks no matter what you do to it

If its still got Dexcool in it, then the intake manifold gasket will go and it’ll dump coolant into the oil pan. Cheap fix, its just annoying and messy

Leaking “Spider. ” The 4.3 uses something called Central Fuel Injection System, it looks like a giant spider. Its known to leak into the plenum and cause all kinds of drivability issues.

The gauge cluster will die or do strange things

Suspension parts and lift kits for a ZR2 are hard to find or expensive

ABS trips up for random reasons

I sold it after a few years and went back to Jeeps. I do miss the 4.3 though
