just look at the design of the windows (from front to rear), the side mirrors, and the tailights. If two students turned in these assignments the teacher would fail them both for cheating.

There’s a reason our grandparents say modern cars are all the same shapeless blobs.

This is why I understand when people go off the deep end with modifying the new STi. The only problem is that with time, that car is going to become forgettable and not end up holding crazy value like the older cars have. I'm guessing that if I kept my '06 STi in a sealed temperature controlled chamber for like 30 years, it would appreciate in value. But I will definitely drive that thing until it become unreliable as hell and still come out at least even in value.

Don’t make me get my flat brimmed hat, bro!

I made the same realization 3 years ago. Glad to see nothing has changed with the 2 car designs

I’ll say. They’re both black and have four-ish wheels.

I love how the front brake caliper goes from the front to the back of the rotor

And that reason is macular degeneration.

back in my day, all the cars were the same, but they were covered in different bits of chrome!

hawk eyes, and bolb eyes are probably the best investment cars to buy right now. If you can find one unmodified.

1 more reason the STI should be a hatch.

The general shapes of all 3 of those in the 1st picture are significantly different. The wheel wells, greenhouses, rear quarter windows, fins etc. are different shapes, locations, angles, etc.

Hawkeyes, you mean toilet seats.

Hawkeyes are the best looking STI.

Yessssir. Mine is bone stock aside from the spoiler delete and now mild tints. I’m the second owner and the first guy definitely maintained it and didn’t abuse it. I have no intentions of using it as an investment since I will be driving it a ton as my daily and on road trips. But having paid $13,500 for it, I feel like I got a pretty good deal and could recoup that even with many more miles. I bet even if I drive it past 200k I can still clear $10k no problem.

Nope GC’s are the best STI’s, too bad they weren’t USDM. I did buy an 04 brand new though, and modified it within an inch of it’s life.
