With the tentative trade deal with Mexico only three cars become subject to the increased rules-of-origin requirements. Any guesses?
Well your (probably) wrong its the Nissan Versa, the Fiat 500, and the Audi SQ5.

Aren’t some of the base model Mazda3s made in Mexico?

What are the increased rules-of-origins requirements. Why are all the other Mexican manufactured cars sold in the U.S.A. not
affected?

Rules-of-origins requirements basically say if X% of the vehicle (including its parts) is built in the US it wont be subject to the tariff penalties .
They aren’ t affected because the cars they are building already meet the new (tougher) requirements. The minimum pay affects a lot more manufacturers though
