Savage. Are you sure he did it though? Not a setup?

If that frog was six inches taller, it might have been out of reach.

Let’s not jump to any conclusions here.

Well it’s pretty obvious he croaked.

Can confirm. Ours was a tremendous ratter in her earlier days. Now she lives the retired life.

Ha! 15 minutes ago my wife starts yelling for me. I run downstairs and our “middle” dog had caught a rat and was chomping down. So I gave her (the dog, not the wife) a treat!
Stupid neighbors store their dog food outside, so at least most of the critters hang out at their house.

One thing’s for sure: he croaked

It looks like the frog has a cigarette in his mouth.
My dog will chase toads. But then they always secrete their toxin and he ends up spitting them out. You’d think he’d eventually learn. But he’s been doing it for 7 years.

I’m a friend of frogs and toads. We had a chicken that used to eat toads... had a chicken.

When I was a kid we had a Westie who, about a week before she had to be put down, blind and fairly out of it, still somehow managed to find a kill a vole, and leave it on the couch (thanks!). Those instincts are strong.
