I am drawn to medium trucks from the late 50s to early 70s more than any other type of vehicle. I spotted this one on vay-kay this summer.

The cool thing about the west coast is a lot of those trucks are still working. Wasn’t surprising to see contractors on our street show up in 70s F-series trucks or minty two-tone C/Ks from the early 80s.

I happened upon a 1963 GMC short bed medium dump truck many years ago in very good condition and I will regret for the rest of my days not getting it home somehow. It was in upstate New York and I am in California. Definitely a wild dream. It probably had one of those 478 CID V-6 engines.

Haha it’s surprising what lurks in upstate New York, but I’d imagine the mileage on one of those would be shocking.

my grandfather had one of these for his autobody shop
my uncle used to “ borrow” it late a night to steal cars......
in the 80s it was parked at my grandfathers chalet, and i would spend my days playing in it.
