S Saw a Buick SUV thing with what looked to be BMW grill stripes painted on it. Is that a real thing? Is it someone’s copying something they thought was nifty? It looked like this, but on a Buick.

It’s weird but I  don’t hate it. Especially if the colors and order match the Buick three shield crest

Silver/white is a type of blue, right? If it was the actual colors I’d be more okay with it,

I don’t hate this but I certainly wouldn’t say I like it. Buick has such a crappy reputation in my head for all the junk I rode in with the grandparents as a kid. They definately need something like this to start to dig out of the hole. They’re going in the right direction but maybe a Camaro derived sedan with these stripes but take it racing too!

Honestly, many of problem with that is that the colors and order are  wrong . Should match the logo.

Buick's got as much a claim to blue and red as BMW.

The Buick tri-color has been around longer than BMW has been around period .

BMW: 102 years old.
Buick: Red/Blue/[Gold,White] tri-color since around 1910.

Which makes it even worse that they’re getting it wrong.

Yes, I know Buick is better than 15/25/35 years ago, but it’s still going to take a lot more to convince me. Enthusiasts will help. Maybe even these  grille mods will help.

Quite frankly, even most BMWs painted with ///M colors don’t look good. So for this idea to become more popular is painful.
