You can now buy an SVR in BRG, but it’s $4900 extra (worth, since that was the only reason I never fake configured SVRs). It’s not Range Rover and their frigging $15,000 BRG paint, but how is BRG a $500 option on most Jags, but $5k on an SVR?
Side note, I’ve been thinking about buying an umbrella from Thomas Brigg. I want black, but they offer a BRG one called “Jaguar” and that’s hard to resist.

Because when you're spending that much money on a car, an extra 5k is nothing. So, why NOT nickel and dime them?

It’s the principle, man. But you can now configure low-trim F-Types with it, so I guess it evens out.

OK, so I see Jaguar Green, but it all appears to be attache cases and the like, no umbrellas ?
But now I really want this, for fairly obvious reasons (but I’m not shelling out £770 for it) :

OK, so I’m an idiot (actually the site design is squirrelly), but I just realized that I can order that umbrella in “Jaguar”. Might as well go silk for another £330...

I thiiiink they have it for the flaskbrella too, but that’s a bit too much investment in alcoholism than I’m willing to make.

They do - I figured it out. For what they’re selling umbrellas for, if I’m going to get one, it damn well better have something cool like a built in flask.

W ell there’s so much extra surface area compared to the Jag that they have to charge extra.

If it makes you feel better, it’s the umbrella Neville Chamberlain carried when he appeased Hitler...

I can well imagine that he needed that flask afterward...

“My umbrella cost $1000, so it’s okay that I’m drinking out of it at 9AM”

I think that’s a laudable life goal.

British Racing Green Metallic is the standard 500$ color.
British Racing Green #5 is the SVR Premium Palette 5000$ color.
The question then becomes... does the SVR color LOOK 4500$, and 10 times cooler than the standard 500$ paint.

Because people are willing to pay $5k for it. Doesn’t matter what it costs on other cars; they aren't the SVR.
