What did I do yesterday?
I read the “Studies weekly,” teacher guide, engaged in several planning meetings, and shared the vastly important task of sharpening 120 pencils.

Sharpening pencils brings back memories of childhood. My aunt is a teacher at the school I attended, so after school(before I could drive) I stayed with her and sharpened pencils. It was better than just sitting there.

Fortunately my co-op teacher had an electric sharpener and I don’t have a cramp in my arm.

When I was in first or second grade, we accidentally knocked the cover off of the pencil sharpener. I was fascinated by the blades inside and wondered how they worked.
I put my thumb on them to see how they felt. That’s when the other kid decided to see how they rotated. The parallel slices in my thumb were epic.
