Wow - those were pretty rare when new, can’t be many of those left.
Looks a little beat up, but I like it!

It is either a good thing or a bad thing this is on the other side of the country from me.

That rear 3/4 shot reminds me too much of a Hyundai Scoupe. Which I never realized before.
Alltracs are now ruined for me.

Poorly installed aftermarket stereo
New
Unobtanium parts completely and totally thrashed
Seats so destroyed even the covers can’t hide it
Both bumpers literally falling off
Large amount of poorly done body repairs
Pile of “new” parts none of which are available new
Giant $25 eBay fartcan “muffler” undisclosed
Yep, he knows what he has.

All things considered this one’s in decent shape; most of these you find for sale are either shells, rusted, or have significant body damage(or some combination of the three); the bodykit on these are unique to US/Euro-market ST165s and VERY hard to get a hold of. Seller’s pretty accurate about import numbers; by my best guesstimate there were 2,000 sold in the US and 500 in Canada between 1988-1989.
$4500 might be a bit optimistic, as I picked mine up in 2015 for $6K and about 200K less miles. NOS parts are a major plus as there’s a ton of unobtanium on these cars. If the seller could be talked down a grand this wouldn’t be a bad one to fix up or engine swap to a Gen3/4 3SGTE on down the line.

You: It looks as if the hood at the very least collided with something. The left side of the hood looks a little pushed back, and slightly bent.
Seller: “Oh that...it probably bent a little when I had the hood off to replace the turbo, and my son ran into it with his Big Wheel. It’s not a big deal.”
