That sounds like a heap lol. The things people say in a Craigslist ad are most definitely sugarcoating at best. Every car runs beautifully a week ago before you go and break it. But everything can also be fixed, at a certain price point. So assuming you low ball the shit out of it thinking you need a new junk yard engine, then you can't go wrong.

Seems like a lose-lose buying a Toyota car that has issues. I thought the whole point of Toyota cars was they they were reliable at the cost of being boring to drive.
