Those stupid decals should be an easy fix... right?

Half of me says get it, the other half remembers the nightmare that is that engine and wants to turn and run.
Those engines were amazing til they weren’t
Cylinder 4 will basically explode with no warning and eat the piston. In stock form even.

OMG!! The prices are going down! I remember a couple years ago you could not find a Coupe for less than $35k
10/10 would DD

Well the wholesale value of my car is still around $4k, lol. But good luck finding anyone who’s willing to sell at t ha t price.

Terrible graphics on that thing, but the coupes are so rare - and this FWD one is a true unicorn (rolls eyes).
But at least it’s woman driven, that’s a plus!! WUT?

This is actually the first time I heard about such issues... but then the proper course of action is just yank it out and put a LS in it, lol.

Having only driven a base Solstice, I would love to get my hands on one of these.

If you get it here is a list of things that will help the engine live longer.
Get it tuned, properly dyno tuned, get an extra injector added for the intake manifold (kit can be bought on ZZP’s website) and basically drive the car like you stole it when possible.
What usually happens is because of the direct injection system the last cylinder runs lean and nukes the piston.
I lost an engine in my Cobalt SS because of that, bough a second engine and built it from the ground up and had no piston or misfire issues for the life of the engine.

Ehh... I have an NA so I guess I should be safe. It’s just a Malibu engine.

Stupid “car name” decal in cursive
Large selling dealer decal left on from original sale
Hideous black “tribal flame” decals on the sides
Car bra that hasn’t been cool since the 80's.
Aftermarket “it’s just like Viper” alarm system
Harley Davidson or “Back Off”
mudflaps
Hideous “pinstriping” decals not put on straight
Deliberately avoided photo of poorly installed aftermarket stereo
Slip-on steering wheel cover from AutoZone
Reliability
varies between non-existent and negative values
Actual performance somewhere between “1980's Honda” and “Buick”
Yep, definitely checks out.

Trust me, that’s only scratching the surface. I don’t care what ZZP says. These are a rolling fucking dumpster fire. You can’t fix bad design, and this is bad design .
If you aren’t prepared to do an LTG swap ( bring all your wallets ) then you’re never not on borrowed time.
