I miss RC cars, but the ones I remember from my childhood all had pretty shitty rechargeable batteries. I’d imagine they’re better these days.

Are those RC cars? Those look like a good time.

these ones are awesome and pretty indestructable. The batteries have gotten pretty spicy, but they still don’t last forever.

yeah, we’ve got 2 of the same for spec racing. but we just smash them up and do a new body every summer.

I take it these don’t explode when you push a button.

We have a great big bucket of Matchbox (and all sorts of other) cars, and my boys used to play Crash Competition in the kitchen. Which means sitting at either end of the kitchen with a pile of cars and sending them hurtling into each other at epic speeds.
Good times.

Very cool. What model chassis are those? And scale?

no, but they’d probably run circles around the “dead pool” car

they are 10 scale vatterra v-100. one came as a mustang, one cam,e as a 72 chev pickup.

If I’m not mistaken they used an actual spec racing chassis for it and an oversize battery. It was hot shit back then, fast enough they didn’t have to slow the big cars.

One of my favorite toy when I was a young lad.
No batteries required.
