Court actually went well. I am asking for something that is unprecedented and probably unreasonable. In the tentative ruling , my motion was denied. At the hearing today, I convinced him to think about it, and I have reason to believe I have an outside chance of getting it.

More importantly, the other attorney is killing his credibility with the judge. He goes on and on whining about us , but presents no evidence of what he claims we are doing wrong . He has already brought one motion f that got laughed out of court , and he keeps doubling down on the tactic of trying to smear my client and me .

While I am sure my brilliant oratory skills were the key, this buffoon is really helping me out.

I rewarded myself with a heart healthy lunch of a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado and dijon, a salad with basalmic, and unsweetened iced tea, and I plan to play hooky for the rest of the day.

A few months ago, I would have been posting burgers and beer on a day like this. I am doing well with this, and have lost over 50 lbs. It has not been as hard or unpleasant as I expected. I find things I like to eat, and I try to make good choices at every meal.

Been eating a ton of beans, rice, quinoa and kale for lunches instead of a pizza or some fast food.

one thing that will alwasy still with me ws a trip to the sciene museum. they had a display of what basically looked like if you put a human through a deli slicer. they had an average size person next to someone who was very obese. It was amazing to see how the fat squ ished the internals.

Fifty pounds! Damn. Congratulations. My wife sat on a jury in an insurance fraud case. One of the attorneys was very good, and the other was very bad. She said it made all the difference. Certainly not news to you, but it was an eye opener for someone whose only experience with court was through TV dramas.

People think you have to deny yourself to lose weight, but that’s not sustainable.  Healthy choices is the way to go.  It’s what we teach our daughter.
