Even when you’ve done nothing wrong there is nothing quite like that relief when a cop with his lights on passes you.  You go from “today is about to suck” to “someone else’s day is about to suck” instantly.

I street race people in my Corvair quite often. I occasionally win. Too bad I don’t think any of them realize that they were taking part. 80HP gross, when new, isn’t much in a 2400LB car. Though I still end up slowed down by people on onramps!
