I’m borrowing my Father in law’s Full size Sprinter to pick up a new garage door today. It’s got 17’ Of flat load floor from the dash to the back doors, and the door is 16’ long. It also has a 6’6” interior roof. Needless to say it’s bigly. I backed it into this spotat Dairy Queen because I’m a big boy.

I still say this is the most ironically named vehicle on sale today.

Ha yeah. 6000lb vans don’t exactly S print. It is hard to believe it has a tiny 4 cylinder engine though. It’s far from fast but it can get out of its own way just fine. Makes me which Mercedes would sell a utilitarian half ton pickup with this engine.

I’ve been tempted to pick up a Sprinter and convert it for vanlife, been watching too many YouTube videos on the subject recently and it just sounds awesome. Biggest thing I’d need is rear storage space under the bed that can (at different times) fit mountain bikes and a racing kart, that would be most excellent.

I would suggest it. They are very nice to drive compared to other vans. With a bit of wood and bedding acting as sound deadening It would be like driving a tall car.

The first gen Sprinter (1995) replaced this van . Which, in base version and until 1995 , had 79 hp. The dually van in this picture has 79 hp . Earlier versions of this specific model had a lot less hp. From that perspective the Sprinter really is a Sprinter.
