I put more cabinets in today. Then relaxed with an ice cold root beer, and so me patio time with my wife while my girls played in a fort made out of a refrigerator box . It was a damn good day.

Just got back from great wolf lodge and attempted to pick   up an auction car (story to come on the car) and ate a good enchilada from a restaurant near my place.

Good weekend so far (except the car).

Sipping whiskey and watching Batman. I cut the ever  living shit out of my thumb today. Patched it up pretty well, and am hoping I don’t wake up in a pool of blood tomorrow.

I won $500 at a casino today because my partner made me change slot machines. Now I’m watching the Broncos play way better than they did last week, though they did just let the Bears take the lead at the end (who cares).

Their first and second teamers did way better. Third teamers lost the game, but whatever. Last week the local sports talk station was freaking out about how bad they looked, and this week they'll probably have them going undefeated and winning the Super Bowl.

I replaced the thrust arm bushings on my 540it today, but that was earlier in the day. Drives a lot better now, 212k miles and going strong! Picture from earlier in the day:

I was cleaning a pyrex bowl and hit it against the divider in my sink as I was moving it to the drying rack. Thing exploded in my hands and I must have squeezed my hands in reaction to it. I couldn’t believe how it just came apart in my hands.

Honestly it seems like everyone is changing the their oil, myself included.

I also soldered and ran a wire down from my Electronic Spark Control module to the Knock Sensor because that one is mysteriously missing on the ESC end (even weirder: such was also the case with the only other ‘92 I found at the Pick n Pull today). Unfortunately I don’t get a resistance reading from the sensor at the other end of the wire so I need to debug that tomorrow.

I have no idea.  It’s especially odd considering that on the Outback it is on the grille.

It’s strange because no other current Subaru has a hood mounted badge and it is styled as part of the grille.

I did some soldering too but it was just to fix the antenna in my garage so I could watch football while I change oil.

I pulled the transmission off my Fiat 500 so I can replace the clutch.... that was my Saturday night
