“We can’t put made in Spain! No one will buy it!”

I’m surprised Japan is so low.
What does Switzerland make that carries such a solid reputation? Cheese? Chocolate? Bank accounts?

wait... what are finland n norway doing all the way down there.... anyones ever bought a wintercoat or a sleeping bag with made in either of those on it knows they should be much higher up the list

I feel like Japan should be significantly higher? And in a possibly related note, the UK and Italy should be much lower. Beyond whiskey and cheese, I can’t think of a single UK product I’d assume was well made, and Italy is much the same excepting clothing, wine, and food products.

i mean... it aint global.... but about as good as you can get without really breaking the wallet

Japan should be #1 on the list.

Good point, totally forgot about Victorinox.

Yeah, those food products, knives, and don’t forget about Swatch Internet Time™.
Though really, I think the question is what does Switzerland make that you wouldn’t consider to be high-quality?

Fuckin hell, I also forgot about watches.
I never associated manufacturing with Switzerland but the things that were pointed out to me are high quality.

The Finns make some awfully fine firear ms.
Sakos are beautiful, and expensive. TIKKA is their “ cheap” brand, or maybe more like Scion was to Toyota...
http://www.tikka.fi/en-us/rifles
and the Norwegians have done some good work too...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krag%E2%80%93J%C3%B8rgensen
though they aren’t as well known for current production arms.

ive seen a couple sakos.. they are nice
getting a license here is a pita tho... minimum of a year guns club membership 18 hours of training (i think) before you can apply for a licence.. then you can still fail the backgroundcheck

This is one of those speculative products that private statistical companies create to generate revenue and a public profile.
Given that the primary data is derived from people’s opinions and opinions are like ars eholes then the actual value of the survey findings is not much more than entertainment...
