And then there are the ones who are never self-aware. Like the dumb broad who camped in the left lane...in my blind spot...while I was signaling to merge into that lane. And she continued to camp in that exact spot while I waited for her to move.

I gave up, hit the brakes, and merged in behind her. She seemed to get the hint when traffic started flowing better, and she moved into the right lane to let me by.

I really liked becoming self aware. About age 26 I finally started feeling like (and results seemed to prove) I was NOT fucking up every decision that I needed to make and it felt kinda cool to not be a complete shithead.

I still REMEMBER being a shithead so I tend to cut the under-25 a little slack, though I will tell them they’re being a shithead and when they’re old like me they’ll recognize it. I expect there are some folks who will remain shitheads for life. Hopefully I don’t run into many of them.
