I hope that United plane was arriving, otherwise those passengers are in for a bit of a delay.

Yeah, he’s not going anywhere for a while.

At first I thought this was a video about that dude, since it started with an Alaska turboprop.

Have you seen the film? Dude looped the Dash 8. It was pretty cool, actually, but ultimately a sad story.

I’ve seen some videos, would watch more. The dude is now le gendary, it sucks that he decided that his life was over for doing it and didn’t/wouldn’t land it.

“United 123 traffic at your 12 o’clock, your altitude is a shipping container going opposite direction , advise traffic in sight”

T he noise that resulted from that had to be something like picking up a penny with a vacuum , only 10000% worse.

Is there a film of the whole loop? I saw it from about the top (inverted) to the bottom (shockingly low), but not the entry.
Such a tragedy though...

That sounds like what I saw. It’s my understanding that he learned with a desktop sim. He might have made a good pilot if things had been different. Very sad.

Dash 8's, every time their fault.
Coincidentally
I was on an 737
AK flight this winter in SFO and they thought the plane was struck by a food truck. 2 hrs later we departed
, probably just felt the plane role over an expansion
joint in the pavement.

I wonder if they thought of latching those containers to the trailer.
